What is the best lure to use to catch largemouth bass?

So i have been skunked the last couple times that i have gone out fishing, i have tried a couple different ponds with different rapalas, worms, and crank baits but nothin is really catching anything. I live in northern Colorado, also what are some good spots to fish at, i don’t have a boat which is kind of a drag but ill do without. Any tips would really help me out because im goin out tonight and i don’t want to get skunked again.

I like rubber worms – fish them slower…it’s kind of early for Colorado so the water may be little cool for bass…
